Hi, everyone. I have a simple question. I have searched a little but I could noy find an answr to it, so if anyone knows about this, please help me out.
Let's say I have designed a book or a brochure in InDesign or maybe in Apple Pages. I convert the document into a PDF file using Export command or by printing to Acrobat. The problem is that the black 100% text is separated into CMYK, which causes not clean and sharp printing, obviously. I tried various PDF presets, without success.
When converting, I use a custom ICC profile of a printing device which I am going to use for the job. This is why I convert the document to PDF, for color matching. All the colors in the document are converted to correct CMYK values for the printer in question, but the black text is not supposed to change.
If I use Apple's own command in Pages (Share>Export>PDF), the text remains as K100%, but there is no correct color conversion.
Why can't I find a very simple "Keep black as pure black" sort of option anywhere in Acrobat?
