Hi,
I just created a form from a non-form PDF and signed it with a digital ID. I had wanted to email the completed form to the person who sent me the original PDF. However, what I'm finding is that when you try to open the document now, it prompts for the password to MY digital ID. If you don't enter this, the document doesn't open. Worse yet, even after entering MY password, I can't unsecure the document in any way. If I try to change the security on the document, I get the error message "You cannot change security on this document because the document is signed or certified." If I clear my digital signature and then try to change the security settings, I get the error message "You are not authorized to change the security settings of this document." The Advanced->Security->Remove Security... option is disabled on the menu at all times.
This is the most non-intuitive crappy design I've ever seen on a commercial product. Can someone please help me get control of my document again?
