Hello, I am using Quark 6.5, Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional on a Powerbook G4. I am getting the following error when I import a pdf into a quark doc.
The PDF file "BookBiusiness.pdf" cannot be imported because security permissions are set, or it is password protected.
I have used these same PDFs for the last 4 years and never had a problem importing them before. I checked the security settings in Acrobat that I am using and there are not set. Also had a problem with the program being printed as the PDFs are now printing bitmapped. 1. How do I get rid of the security problem and 2. Is there a way for me to save the pdf out to a a new HR pdf? Tried saving out as .tif, got the .tif file, all PDF's are B&W or Grayscale, but black not good. Called Adobe and was told they are no longer supporting 7.0 so they cannot help me at all?? Any info is appreciated.
